Building a Pond Fountain and Patio Heater Accessories in your Mini Backyard

No matter how big or small your planned backyard pond is you will need to have ready access to electricity. Since this is going to be an outdoor fountain pond, you will have to make sure you have an outlet which is properly grounded (You may also need an electrician to check the safety of your wirings and set up fire sense mocha patio heater).

Again, may it be big or small you should at least have a rough sketch out of your plans and ideas for landscaping the pond fountain. Go over the steps and set your mind with the visuals you could imagine:

Basically it will start by digging a hole, dropping in the Pond Liners, running a tube from the pump into the bowl and filling the pond water.

Step 1:

Determine the approximate volume of water of the pond before starting your fountain project. Measure its width by its length and multiply them together. If the shape is unusual, measure each section separately and add it to get the figure. Next, measure the depth and compared to the desired sizes.

Once you get all the exact numbers of gallons precede to the next step.

Step 2:

Use a water pump large enough to handle the volume of water needed in the pond. This larger pump is capable of turning over the volume of your water in a few hours if your intention is cleaning and filtration. On the other hand, if the purpose of the water fountain is for beautification then you could use a smaller pond pump.

Step 3:

The water fountain will need the electricity I mentioned a while ago. It is recommended to be positioned closest to the electrical outlet and where you wish the pond fountain to be. Make sure the cord and extension wire is in a weatherproof box. Hide it with stoner or plants. Direct the water course toward the fountain to make the position of the filter easier.

Step 4:

After you have positioned the water flow towards the pond, attach an intake of hose to the pump and a filter mechanism on the other end. Filtering the entire pond farm will cost much, with this simple water feature; the filter is designed to keep debris out of the pump. The filter should be simply attached to the hose and dropped into the water along the side of the pond.

You need not bury it too deep as it will need to be brought out and cleaned during maintenance.

Step 5:

Secure a longer hose to the water outlet on the pump and attach the other end to the floating fountain. To have a water display and surface agitation, release the floating fountain in the pond. It will just run into its location specifically at the end of the hose.

Step 6:

Finally set everything come into life, plug the pond fountain into an electrical socket. Follow the close procedures set by an electrician’s help and wait for the go signal when the pump is ready to be turned on.
