Make sure to notify the post office about your new address and contact establishments from which you receive mail to ensure that your mail goes to the correct place. Moreover, don’t forget to do the following:

  • Inform your bank about your move.
  • Update your details on the electoral roll and superannuation funds.
  • Contact your car insurance company and update registration regarding your change of address.
  • Notify friends and family about new address and contact number.

7. Clean the new house

Your new home should be spic and span before your belongings arrive.
